Expression of Cyclin B1 and p21 Protein in the Maternal Placenta Tissue in Hypertensive Disorder Complicating Pregnancy and its Clinical Significance

Objective: To observe the protein expression of cyclin B1 and p21 in the maternal placenta tissue of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and its clinical significance.Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to test the protein expression of cyclin B1 and p21 in the placenta of 30 cases of gestatiaonal hypertension,30 cases of slight preeclampsia group,30 cases of severe preeclampsia group,and 20 cases of healthy normal control,and then the correlation of protein expression of cyclin B1 and p21 in the maternal placenta tissue with the severity of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy was analyzed.Results: The protein expression of cyclin B1 in different hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy groups were lower than that of the normal control group(P0.005),while the protein expression of p21 in different hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy groups were higher than that of the normal control group(P0.005).There was a negative correlation between the expression level of cyclin B1 protein and severity of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(r=0.641,P=0.000),and a positive correlation between the expression level of p21 protein and severity of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(r=0.635,P=0.000).Conclusion: Down-regulation of Cyclin B1 protein and up-regulation of p21 protein may be involved in the development of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy,and they were significantly associated with the severity of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy.
