Abstract
[Objective]To fully understand the risk of the outbreak of intestinal infectious diseases in Dalian,to guide the prevention and control of the outbreaks of intestinal infectious diseases.[Methods]Epidemic data of the outbreaks of some intestinal infectious diseases from 1952 to 2008 in Dalian were collected and analyzed.[Results]There were 82 outbreaks of intestinal infectious diseases and 12 058 cases in total from 1952 to 2008,19 of them were typhoid and paratyphoid fever(1606 cases),7 were bacillary dysentery(497cases),22 outbreaks of infectious diarrhea other than cholera,dysentery,typhoid and paratyphoid fever(7 893 cases),and 34 outbreaks of hepatitis A(2062 cases).49 outbreaks in rural areas with 6 487 cases.33 outbreaks in urban district with 5571 cases.42 were water-born outbreaks(8 236 cases),13 food-born outbreaks(1 821 cases),17 outbreaks by intimate contact(502 cases),4 outbreaks caused by many factors(1 011 cases),and 6 outbreaks caused by unknown factors(488 cases).Workers,students,farmers,urban residents and preschool children accounted for36.30%,31.83%,16.91%,13.52% and 1.29% respectively,and other people accounted for 0.16%.[Conclusion]The main cause of the outbreaks of intestinal infections diseases was the contamination of water in water supply system in Dalian.
