Abstract
Taking the maximum ratio of flood peak reduction and the maximum reservoir water level in flood-end period as overall objective function,optimization method is applied to plot flood control forecasting chart of hydropower station.The problem of frequent open and close of gate is overcome by adding the discharge constraints in flood rising and falling period to the objective function.An example of Shiquan Hydropower Station shows that an improved operation chart is more reasonable and practical for guiding real-time flood control operation of hydropower station effectively.
