Abstract
Objective To determine the content of total flavonoids of the Meicha and original plant with UV Spectrophotometry.Method otal Flavones was assayed by UV Spectrophotometry to establish the quality control,The ampelopsin was used as a standard compound and the total flavonoids wad quantitated by measurement of the absorbance at 311 nm.Result The method was linear in the range of 0.002-0.016 mg/mL of the flavonoids(coefficient correlation was 0.9999);the average of recovery was 99.88%.RSD=0.38%(n=6).The content of total flavonoids of Meicha and the original plant were 33.72% and 40.32%.Conclusion Assayed of Meicha total flavonoids by UV Spectrophotometry was simple and fast.
