Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of stereotactic core needle biopsy(SCNB) in the diagnosis of breast lesions. Methods Surgical operation and SCNB were performed on 65 cases whose breast lesions were detected by mammography, analyzed and compared with those two methods. Results The concordance rate to the pathology results was 86.4% in malignant cases and 97.6% in benign cases. Conclusion Mammorgaphy with SCNB is a simple, safe and accurate localization procedure, and is very valuable in the diagnosis of breast lesion.
