Abstract

Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is the causative agent of infectious bronchitis(IB), A pair of primers for amplifying the S1 gene of avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV)had been designed,with which the predicted 1.62 kb fragment had been amplified by RT-PCR from Strain M41. Then the expression vectors containing the S1 gene of M41 strain was constructed and the recombinant expression protein was obtained. The expressed S1 protein was identified by ELISA, Western blotting and indirect fluorescent antibody technique and the biological characters of S1 protein was identified.
