Clinical observation of the treatment of acute angle-closure glaucoma with phacoemulsification

Abstract

Objective To investigate the operation method of acute angle-closure glaucoma.Methods 22 patients(22 eyes) of acute angleclosure galucoma accepted phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation.Results The intraocular pressure of 17 eyes were normal,the best corrected visual acuty improved 2～4 lines compared with preoperation.Conclusion Phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation is a new and effect way to acute angle-closure glaucoma,especially to mixed cataract of midterm and premature.
