Abstract

The critical problems in reverse engineering, coordinate measuring and model reconstruction, are addressed in this paper. The coordinate digitizing strategy of one type of motorcycle together with the reconstructed model of the motorcycle, which serve as practical examples, illustrate the procedure and capability of reverse engineering technique.
