Citation Analysis on 11 Chinese Journals of Physical Education and Sport for 2006

According to the citation analysis method in literature metrology,the citations of papers in 11 Chinese Journals of Physical Education and Sport were analyzed for 2006.The citation amount,type of citation,citation languages,citation years,the Price index,citation half-life and rate of self-citation had been calculated.The statistical results of 5 core journals show that the average citation amount was 11,16;the citation rate of periodicals and books were 56,10% and 30,52% respectively;the citation rate of Chinese document and foreign document were 76,13% and 23,61% respectively;the Price index was 43,96%;the citation half-life was 5,71 years and rate of self-citation was 4,11%;the statistical results of 6 general journals were 6,64,66,.20%,26,.92%,89,39%,10,21%,44,16%,5,54 years and 1,32% respectively.
