Abstract
According to the citation analysis method in literature metrology, the citations of papers in J. Baoji Univ. Arts Sci.(Nat. Sci.) were analyzed for 2000~2004. The citation amount,citation languages, citation years, the Price index,citation half-life and rate of self-citation had been calculated. The statistical results show that the citation amount and average citation amount were 3 210 and 6.674 respectively,the citation rate of the documents in 1990s was about 48.94%, the citation rate of Chinese document and foreign document were 63.33% and 36.67% respectively.the citation rate of periodicals and books were 61.53% and 25.76% respectively.the Price index was 40.69%.the citation half-life was 6.70 years and rate of self-citation was 2.31%.
