The Curative Effect Observation of Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream in Two Topical Approach for Tinea Pedis

Objective Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of terbinafine hydrochloride cream for hands and pedis tinea in two different ways. Methods One hundred cases of hands and pedis tinea patients were divided into two groups randomly. Patients in teatment group treated with terbinafine hydrochloride cream coated with the affected area after dressing closed 12h; Patients in control group were treated with terbinafine hydrochloride cream to the affected part only. The treatment course in both groups were 2 weeks. To compared the clinical efficacy of two different treatment methods after 2 weeks. Results The cure rate of the treatment group (40. 00%) and efficiency (70. 00%) were significantly better than that in control group (12. 00% and 50. 00%) ,the difference had statistically significant (P 0. 05) . One case of treatment group and two cases of control group presented partial heat,redness and irritation during the therapy,and the symptoms were disappeared after treatment. There was no recurrence after 6 weeks to 3 months follow-up. Conclusion The efficiency of terbinafine hydrochloride cream coated outside the affected area combine bandaging closed 12h for hands and pedis tinea is better than that only coated.
