The effect observation of miconazole cream and terbinafine crtam in tinea pedis

Objective To compare the efficacy and safely of miconazole cream and terbimafine cream in tinea pedis.Methods 80 cases patients with tinea pedis were randomly divided into miconazole group(40 cases)and terbinafine group(40 cases),respectively were treated with miconazole cream and terbinafine cream,2 times a day,treated 4 weeks.Results The total effective rate of miconazole group and terbinafine group respectively were 95.0% and 97.5%,there was no significant differences(P0.05).Miconazole group had 1 case of adverse reaction,terbinafine group was no adverse reaction.ConclusionMiconazole cream is effective and safely in treating tinea pedis,and has almost the same efficacy and safely as terbinafine cream.
