An Application of Task-based Language Teaching to Higher Vocational English

Abstract

Task-based language teaching takes learners as a center,highlighting teaching principle meaning and using first and complements well each other in the skills-oriented,competency-based philosophy of higher-vocational English teaching.In the implementation of task-based language teaching,the task design should activate the inner system of student knowledge,and teachers should collect the relevant information according to the text content,highlight the understanding and expression in the discourse analysis,and focus on the strengthening and consolidation of the knowledge in the exercise link after class.
