Abstract

Objectiv To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of topical interferon combined with microwave in the treatment of condyloma acuminatum, and to provide a reference for further improve the clinical efficacy of this disease. Methods 136 patients with condyloma acuminatum were selected in our hospital, they were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 68 cases in each. The observation group were treated by microwave therapy combined with local application of interferon treatment, the control group with simple local microwave treatment, treatment 1 times a week, continuous 12 times after treatment, compared two groups of patients with the cure rate, relapse rate and incidence of adverse events. Results The cure rate in observation group was 92.65%, the recurrence rate was 7.35%, in the control group, the cure rate was 70.59%, the recurrence rate was 29.41%; the cure rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the recurrence rate is significantly lower than that of control group(all P 0.05). Two groups of patients during treatment, there were no serious adverse events. Conclusion Local application of interferon combined with microwave therapy can reduce the recurrence rate of condyloma acuminatum, improve the clinical efficacy of this disease, and high safety, and is worthy of further clinical application.
