Abstract
Objective:To explore the expressions of PTEN and Survivin in early cervical squamous cell carcinoma and their relationship with lymph node metastasis. Methods:Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the positive expression rates of PTEN and Survivin in 45 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN),45 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma without retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis and 35 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis. Results:The average optical density values of PTEN in CIN,cervical squamous cell carcinoma without retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis and cervical squamous cell carcinoma with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis were(0.346±0.038),(0.226±0.029) and(0.159±0.041),respectively,the expression rate of PTEN decreased gradually(P0.05).The average optical density values of Survivin in CIN,cervical squamous cell carcinoma without retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis and cervical squamous cell carcinoma with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis were(0.163±0.017),(0.247±0.018) and(0.336±0.051),respectively,the expression rate of Survivin increased gradually(P0.05).Conclusion:Down-regulation of PTEN and up-regulation of Survivin are found in the patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma, there is a negative correlation between PTEN expression and Survivin expression, which is closely related to lymph node metastasis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
