Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constituents from Cassia leschenaultiana,and to provide basis for expanding medicinal resources. METHODS:The ethanol extract was isolated and purified by column chromatograph and recrystallization method;the structures were identified by spectrometer. RESULTS:7 compounds were isolated from C. leschenaultiana,and identified as emodin-8-O-β-d-gentiobioside(1),2-methoxy-chrysophano-8-O-β-d-glucopyranoside(2),stigmasterol-3-O-β-d-glucopyranoside(3),β-sitosterol(4),stigmasterol(5),aurantio-obtusin(6)and ursolic acid(7). CONCLUSIONS:Compounds 1,2,3,6,7 are isolated from this plant for the first time. The study provide reference for the further study of C. leschenaultiana.
