60 Cases of Surgical Treatment of Nodular Goiter

Objective To explore the clinical treatment of nodular goiter surgery method and its efficacy.Method Selected 60 patients with nodular goiter as the research object during the month of January 2009 to 2012 in our hospital,according to the surgical treatment of patients with different,divided into observation group(subtotal thyroidectomy surgery group),observation and comparison of the control group(thyroid nodule resection group) groups,each group of 30 patients;two sets of surgical treatment of the time,the amount of intraoperative bleeding,postoperative drainage,as well as clinical treatment efficiency.Result Observation group therapy cure rate was 53.34%,significantly higher than that of the control of 43.33%,the effective rate of 96.67% of the observation group have to 86.66% of the control group significant difference between statistically significant(P0.05),and the operation time of the two groups of patients,blood loss,postoperative drainage flow but not statistically significant difference(P0.05).At the same time the two groups of patients were not in their postoperative infection,breathing difficulties and other symptoms.Conclusion Subtotal resection of the treatment effect is relatively good in the surgical treatment of nodular goiter,implementation,while certain guarantee their safety,it is recommended to continue to apply in the clinical.
