Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect and adverse reactions of S-adenosyl methionine combined with Xueshuantong in treatment of cholestatic hepatitis patients. Methods Fifty-four patients with cholestasis hepatitis were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases) and control group(24 cases). Two groups were given conventional treatment, the control group was intravenously injected with S-adenosyl methionine injection 1. 0 g / d,while the treatment group was treated with Xueshuantong injection 0. 5 g / d besides the above medicines. The regimen lasted for four weeks.Clinical symptoms, biochemical indexes( ALT,TBil,γ-GT,ALP,TBA) and adverse reaction of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results After treatment,TBil,γ-GT,ALP and TBA in the treatment group were decreased significantly than those in the control group( P 0. 05). The improvement of skin pruritus and cinereous stool in treatment group were also better than those in control group( P 0. 05). The total effective rate of treatment group was 83. 3%,which was higher than 58. 3% of control group( P 0. 05). The two groups had no serious adverse reactions. Conclusion S-adenosyl methionine combined with Xueshuantong has good clinical efficacy and security for the treatment of cholestatic hepatitis patients.
