Effects of Propofol Combined with Fentanyl on Induced Abortion

Objective To observe the effects of propofol or propofol combined with fentanyl during induced abortion period. Methods 140 early pregnant women who were scheduled for pregnancy termination were divided into 2 groups:group P(propofol,n=70) and group F(propofol and fentanyl, n=70).The patients were induced with intravenous propofol(2mg.kg-1)in group P. Before propofol(1.5mg.kg-1) induction intravenous fentanyl(1ug.kg- 1) were used in group F. All patients were maintained with bolus of propofol(0.5mg.kg-1) to provide anesthesia during induced abortion. Induction time,recovery time,the dosage of propofol,NBP、HR、SPO2,side effects and anesthesia effect were recorded.Results Patients in group P had more dosage of propofol of induction and had longer recovery procedure than that in group F.But changes in circulatory and respiratory system have no significant differences between these two groups.Conclusion Combination of propofol and a little dosage fentanyl during induced abortion can decrease propofol dosage,reduce cost,more rapid recovery,more satisfied anesthesia.
