Abstract
Objective To investigate the elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus( T2DM) and bone mineral density in the relationship between the level of blood lipids. Methods Totally 346 patients with T2 DM,according to sex were divided into group A( 153 cases) and group B( 193 cases),through the laboratory test, analyzed the relationship between blood lipid and bone mineral density. Results The patients in group A triglyceride( TG) level is higher, the right hip, lumbar spine, femoral neck bone density is bigger, and patients in group B high density lipoprotein( HDL) level is higher, the smaller the bone mineral density of the lumbar spine. Conclusion The elderly male patients with high levels of TG,T2 DM women with low HDL levels have a certain effect on bone mineral density.
