Value of hs-CRP and immune function on Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia

Objective To investigate the value of hs-CRP on Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP).Method 249 children with MPP were divided into severe MPP group(85cases,lobar pneumonia)and slight MPP group(164cases,no big shape shadow)according to chest lesion type.Another 20 cases of children underwent health examination matching the age were used as control.The level of MP antibody,hs-CRP,procalcitonin(PCT),immune globulin and T cell subgroup distribution were detected.Results Compared with control group,the level of PCT and hs-PCR of MPP group significantly increased and hs-CRP level of severe MPP group was also significantly higher than that of slight MPP group(P0.05).The level of IgG,IgM and IgE of MPP group significantly increased and IgG and IgM level of severe MPP group was also significantly higher than that of slight MPP group(P0.05).The level of CD4+and CD4+/CD8+of MPP group significantly increased,CD8+significantly decreased.No significant difference between CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+of severe MPP group and of slight MPP group(P0.05).Conclusion There are humoral immunity and cell immunity function abnormity in children with MPP.Combined detection of hs-CRP,IgG and IgM will exert vital significance on the diagnosing,evaluation and treatment for MPP.Detection of hs-CRP is simple,specific,high sensitive and low-costing,which is worthy of being put into clinical practice.
