Effect of Gastrodin Injection Combined with Alprostadil Injection on Transient Ischemic Attack

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of gastrodin injection combined with alprostadil injection on transient ischemic attack( TIA). Methods 96 patients with TIA in our hospital of nerve internal medicine from May 2010 to April 2013 were divided into groups treatment and control according to the treatment order,each of 48 cases. Control group was given citicoline and compound danshen injection,treatment group was given gastrodin injection and alprostadil injection. Both treated for 14 days,and the effect between two groups was compared. Results The total efficacy of treatment group was 91. 7%(44 /48), was higher than that of control group of 77. 1%(37 /48)( χ2= 6. 173,P = 0. 046). Adverse reactions were not noted in two groups. Conclusion Gastrodin injection combined with alprostadil injection has satisfactory effect,and less side effects on transient ischemic attack,being worthy of promotion.
