Abstract
Objective:To compare the clinical therapeutic efficacy of gelie paradiazine united with acarbose and only use acarbose in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellius. Methods:Sixty five patients with type 2 diabetes mellitu were randomly divided into two groups and treated for 12 weeks. The treatment group(n=33) were given gelie paradiazine united with acarboseor.Control group(n=32) were given acarbose. The values of FPG,2hPBG,HbAlc,FINS,2hPINS and blood-fat were compared before and after treatment. Results:The FPG coming down averagely of the treatment group was greater than that of the control group(P0.01).Both drugs could reduce the value of 2hPBG significantly(P0.01),which had similar effects as well. The levels of HbA1c were significantly decreased in two groups, the concentrations of HbA1c reduced from(8.81±1.12)% to(7.01±0.96)% in the treatment group(P0.01),and from(8.75±0.71)% to(6.95±0.92)% in the control group(P0.01),but without statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).The values of P2hINS were significantly increased(P0.01) in treatment group, but were significantly decreased(P0.01) in control group. Conclusion:The values of FPG,P2hBG and HbA1c were significantly decreased in both groups.Gelie paradiazine united with acarbose are more suitable for treatment of patients whose value of P2hBG are increased apparently after diet. The effect of gelie paradiazine united with acarbose is better than that of acarboae in reducing FPG,thus is more suitable to control type 2 di abetics.
