Abstract
Two patterns of social mobilization were formed during Wenchuan earthquake relief. One is command mobilization, which is completed in the departments of the Party, the governments and the Army and in their affiliated organizations by order of the central and local authorities, the other is participatory mobilization, which all social members take part in.Social mobilization for disaster relief has made the country more cohesive.During after-disaster livelihood reconstruction,we should also take social mobilization as a driving force to rebuild people's mental order, improve the relief and safeguard functions of communities and re-energize the national spirit.
