Abstract
According to machining theory of involute modified gear,all curves that constitute gear profile are achieved.Their equations are also deduced with Visual Basic in SolidWorks.Based on application of outer-tooth gear pump,every design parameter is reasonably selected and computed.Full gear profile is drawn and solid modeling is accomplished by the function of SolidWorks API.
