This essay explores the approaches to gear modeling by using SolidWorks.Meanwhile,it presents four kinds of methods that generate SolidWorks three-dimensional model of involute gear,which should be well chosen according to the actual situation in application of the project,thus improving the accuracy of gear models and modeling efficiency.
