Abstract
Introduced a method of 3-D parameter molding design of involute gear. Accomplished 3-D parameter molding design in SolidWorks by using of VC++6.0 and API of SolidWorks.It introduced drawing process of gear and take cylinder gear as an example,other complicated teeth of gear just different in the forms of curves,the principle is the same basically.Thought this can apply in other machine components design,make the model structure of the part optimized.
