Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Gastroduodenal Ulcer with Yuyang Decoction(愈疡汤),a Report of 189 cases

Abstract
cases of gastroduodenal ulcer were treated with Yuyang Decoction,and 87 cases treated with Ranitidine and Famotidine were set up as the control group.Results:In the treatment group,157 cases were cured,26 had significant effect,5 effective and 1 ineffective.The total effective rate was 99.5%;While in the control group, the number was 21?20?24?22 and 74.7% respectively.The treatment group was superior to the control group singificantly(P0 001).In the follow up survey of 122 cases in the treatment group,33 recurred.The recurrence rate was 27.0%.While in the 28 cases of control group,21 cases recurred.The recurrence rate was 79.6%.There was significant differences between the recurrence ratein the two groups(P0 001).
