Clinical observation of Tongbiguanmawan on the treatment of unstable angina

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Tongbiguanmawan on the treatment of unstable angina.Methods 85 patients with unstable angina were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in two groups were treated by conventional therapy including anti-angina,lipid-lowering and antihypertension.And patients in control group(n=43) were treated by low molecular weight heparin sodium for injection,0.4 mL subcutaneous injection twice a day.Treatment group received Tongbiguanmawan,2 pills twice a day combined therapy of control group.The course was twenty days in two groups.The clinical effect,ECG,changes in blood pressure before and after treatment,number of angina attacks and nitroglycerin consumption were observed after one courses.Results Treatment group,The effect of ECG and clinical total effective rate were 88.1% and 81.0% in the treatment group and 72.1%,65.1% in control group,differences between two groups were statistically significant(P0.05),the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion Tongbiguanmawan can significantly reduce the number of angina attacks,reduce the amount of nitrates and the effect is definite,it is worthy of clinical application.
