Effect on yield of close planting maize variety in different planting densities in late mature of Heilongjiang Province

Abstract
Reasonable close planting and variety selection are the main approaches to increase maize yield.Yields of six maize varieties were tested in three kinds of densities.The results showed the suitable planting density of Jidan261 and Dongnong253 was 5.25×104 plants·hm-2,the yields of Zhengdan958,Xianyu335,Jiulong8 and Jingdan28 were increased with the elevation of the density,within the density of 4.50×104-6.00×104 plants·hm-2.
