On the Self-Consciousness in the Creation of Liang Si Gong Ji

Abstract
The military and political situation from the early Tang to high Tang dynasty,together with Zhang Yue's personal ideas,sensibilities and life experience,had a vital bearing on the fiction Liang Si Gong Ji. In terms of theme and technique, Liang Si Gong Ji is a typical fiction,which has blended historical facts with legends.An analysis of the fiction will reveal the author's conscious efforts in narrative techniques.
