Abstract
Creating a history needs imagination of the history, so does the research of the history. The author, from the cultural perspective of the interpretation of the Gong Yue and Yi Li historical connotation, derived different conclusions. From the cultural significance of both of them, the author demonstrated that Gong Yue was the combination of the three types of languages and cultures for the Turks, Sogdian, and Chinese, proved the relationship among them, researched the history and geography in the city of Gong Yue, discussed the cultural significance Yi Li as a King of state, a beautiful town, and an essence of collecting and focused on the origin of the term Yi Li.
