Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To study the relationship between the expressions of HER-2 and pathological behaviors of gastric cancer tissues.METHODS:The expressions of HER-2 in 126 gastric cancer specimens and 30 normal gastric specimens from patients with gastric cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry.RESULTS:The positive rate of HER-2 expression was 29.4% (37/126) in gastric cancer tissues, and HER-2 was not found in normal tissues(P0.05),which was closely correlated with age, site of tumor, regional lymph node, distant metastasis, histologic grade, stage and prognosis (P0.05),and not corelated with sex, nerver infiltrating, and vessel infiltrating,P0.05.CONCLUSION:The expression of HER-2 has a closely relationship with biological behaviors of human gastric cancer.
