Abstract

Objective:In this study,we discussed the characteristic of normal and abnormal pancreas with 16-slice helical CT perfusion imaging.Methods:30 cases without pancreatic diseases and 16 cases with pancreatic carcinoma were examined for pancreatic perfusion CT.The data were analyzed by using commercial software to calculate tissue blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),permeability surface area product(PS).Results:The characteristic of normal pancreatic CT perfusion imaging:the whole is displayed as an organ with local blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),mean transit time(MTT) and permeability surface area product(PS).BF,BV and PS is lower in pancreatic carcinoma compared with normal pancreas. Conclusion:CT perfusion imaging can be used to identify patients with pancreatic carcinoma.
