Abstract

The content of hesperidins in peels of citrus has been determined by spectrophotometry.The maximum wavelength of color system is in 422nm. The apparent molar absorptivity is 4.21×10 4L· mol -1·cm -1.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0-60μg/mL. The method is convenient and reliable,with satisfactory results.
