Abstract
Objectives: To investigate the clinical effect of Betaloc on patients with congestive heart failure (CHF). Methods: Fifty eight patients with CHF were randomly divided into Betaloc treated group and control group. All 58 patients were given angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) , diuretics and cardiac glycosides. Betaloc was taken orally in Betaloc treated group in addition. The curative effect was observed after a period of three months' treatment. Results; There were significant differences in the improvement of cardiac function, heart rate, left ventricle ejection fraction ( LVEF) between the two groups (P 0. 05). Conclusion: The curative effect is better of the patients with CHF who take Betaloc in addition than those only take ACEI, diuretics and cardiac glycosides.
