A Comparative Study on Chinese Classical Poetry and Imagist Poetry

The imagist is the first modern poetry school at the early 20th century,and it is the important representation of cultural communication and dialogue on poetry between Europe and China.The imagist poetry and Chinese classical poetry have the similar theoretical basis,but the former learns and imitates the latter on the writing style and diction.The imagists start a new modern way of the British and American poetry with the fresh poetry theory and creation practice.
