Abstract
Chinese catastrophe insurance started later and has a large demand-supply gap. This is mainly because insurance companies here can抰 find effective ways to hedge the caused risks if they have the business. While the traditional catastrophe reinsurance has much limitation, there appear some derivatives of catastrophe insurance in the world抯 capital market. They can promote Chinese finance industries.
