Abstract
Objective:To investigate the accuracy of electronic root canal length measuring methods by JUSTY Ⅱ full auto root apex locator. Methods:JUSTY Ⅱ full auto root apex locator was used to detect the apical foramen of 130 teeth and the results were compared with the X ray dental pictures. Results:An accurate location ±0.5 mm of the apex was obtained in 87.7% of the cases. Conclusions:Determining root canal length by full auto apex locator could attain good accuracy, reduce X ray harm to patients, increase success rate of root canal treatment and decrease clinical time.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
