Abstract
Objective To explore the best total genomic DNA extraction method from the dried and fresh herbs,and to compare the DNA quality as a foundation for future research.Methods SDS and modified CTAB methods were used to get DNA,and the content of nucleic acid,and agarose gel electrophoresis and enzyme digestion were used.Results DNA was higher quality using modified CTAB method to extract,and could get higher quality of total genomic DNA from dry samples.It showed a clear enzyme digestion bands using six kinds of DNA by modified CTAB method extracted from fresh and dried samples of herbs.Conclusion It can be get high-quality of total genomic DNA by the modified CTAB method,and can be used for further experiment analysis.
