Analysis on the Use of Antimicrobial Drugs in Our Hospital between 2008 and 2009

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To systematically analyze the use of antibiotics between 2008 and 2009 for reference of clinical rational drug use.METHODS:The consumption sum,categories and DDDs of the antimicrobial drugs in our hospital between 2008 and 2009 were analyzed statistically with the use of hospital information management system.RESULTS:There was a slight decrease in the number of categories of antimicrobial drugs,but the consumption sum of antimicrobial drugs and its proportion in the total increased over the 2 years,with cephalosporins assuming a predominant place on the consumption list.CONCLUSION:The use of antimicrobial drugs is in a large amount and a wide range,measures should be taken to tighten rational use of this drug.
