Analysis of Antimicrobial Drugs Usage Condition in A Hospital of From 2011 to 2012

Objective To investigate the usage of antimicrobial drugs in our hospital, provide reference information for clinical rational drug use and promote rational use of antimicrobial drugs. Methods Refer the antimicrobial drugs original records in every month from 2011 to 2012,analysis of the annual amount of antimicrobial drug proportion, each kinds of antibiotics usage each year, single variety of antimicrobial drug use frequency and compares each year of 2011 and 2012. Results In 2011 our hospital antibiotic consumption for a total amount is 5604208.33 Yuan, in 2012 the total amount of antibiotic consumption is 3918885.66 Yuan, down 30.07% over the same period; the proportion of 2011 and 2012 the antimicrobial consumption accounted for the total amount of the total amount of drug consumption were 4.83% and 2.94%. Conclusion In 2012 the antimicrobial usage and the frequency of use is lower than in 2011, but required continue to manage and carry out intervention measures, to promote the rational use of antimicrobial agents.
