Utilization of Antimicrobial Drugs in Our Hospital in 2005～2008

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To probe into the current status and trend of the utilization of antimicrobial drugs in our hospital.METHODS: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the use of antimicrobial drugs in our hospital in 2005～2008 with regard to the consumption sum and DDDs and other indicators.RESULTS: The consumption sum of antimicrobial drugs rose year by year.Cephalosporins took the lead on both the consumption sum list and the DDDs list.CONCLUSION: Cephalosporins,Quinolones and antiviral drugs took the lead among all the antimicrobial drugs used in our hospital.
