The effecf of bifidobacterium tetravaccine tabl combined berberine in treatment of diarrhea-predominat irritable bowel syndrome

Objective To oberserve the effect and safety of Bifidobacterium tetravaccine Tabl(live) combined berberine in treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome.Methods Sixtytour cases of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome were divided into two groups,and each group had thirtytwo cases,Combined treating group received both Bifidobacterium tetravaccine tablets and berberine treatment,while the control group received berberine treatment.After 2-week treatment ,the treating effect were compared among the two groups.Results The total effecyive rate in combines treating group was 93.75%,in the control group 68.75%.The total effective rate in combined treating group was obviously higher than control group (P0.05).There was no obvious side-effect found in all group.Conclusions Bifidobacterium tetravaccine Tabl combined and berberine is safe and effective in treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome.It is worth wide spread application.
