Effect analysis of terbinafine combined with fluconazole treating fungal keratitis

Objective To study the effect of terbinafine combined with fluconazole treating fungal keratitis.Methods 52 cases with fungal keratitis were randomly divided into the control group(n=26) and the treatment group(n=26) from June 2009 to February 2011 in our hospital,the control group was treated with fluconazole,the treatment group was treated with fluconazole combined with terbinafine.Results The effective rate(92.3%) in the treatment group was sig nificantly than that(80.8%) in the control group;the cure time[(23.75 ±12.92)d ] in the treatment group was significantly shorter than that[(36.19±13.18)d] in the control group(P0.05);adverse reactions of the two groups was compared,there was a statistical difference(P0.01).Conclusion The effect of terbinafine combined with fluconazole treating fungal keratitis is better,and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
