Abstract
Loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP) is an emerging gene amplification technology.As a detection of molecular biology technology,because of its high specificity and high sensitivity,easy,convenient and low cost,it has been widely used in the diagnosis of clinical disease,bacterial or viral encephalitis qualitative and quantitative detection,animal sex determination and gene chips and so on.This article reviews the principles,characteristics and application of LAMP,with an aim to provide the theoretical basis of its clinical application.
