Abstract
Studies in health assessment of wetland ecosystem were briefly reviewed and weakness was found in health assessment of wetland ecosystem of lakes in arid areas.Ebi Lake wetland of Xinjiang was chosen as the target area of this study,and an indicators system for health assessment of the wetland ecosystem was developed using the PSR(pressure-state-response) model in combination with the conception of hierarchical analysis The indicators system composed of 35 indicators in total,which are divided into 3 groups at project level and 7 groups at factor level.Each of the indicators was given quantitative criteria.The system covers three major types of biophysical,ecological and socioeconomic indicators.
