Abstract

In order to understand Shuangtaihekou Wetland current ecosystem-health-status, Pressure-State-Response evaluation model and analytic hierarchy process were used to carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the wetland ecosystem health. The evaluation results showed that the wetland ecosystem health index was 0.6464, belonging to the sub-health level. In general,25.92% of the entire ecosystem region was in a healthier state. Meanwhile 21.42% belonged to the state of health, 19.59% the sub-health state, 15.31% the general morbid, 17.76% disease states. So Shuangtaihekou Wetland is in a sub-health condition.
