Abstract

Objective:To establish the chromatographic fingerprint method of Morus abla L by HPLC for the quality control. Methods: The fingerprint of 18 batches of mulberry from different areas of Xinjiang and the mainland was established by HPLC. Chromatographic conditions: with YMC-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was used as analytical column, gradient elution 0~10 min, The ratio of A and B was: 20∶80→25∶75; 10~20 min, 25∶75→30∶70; 20-50 min, 30∶70→60∶40 was performed by mobile phase consisting of methanol-0.4% phosphoric acid water, the flow rate was 0.8 ml/min, and detection wavelength was 360nm, column temperature was 30℃. Results: Ten mutual characteristic peaks (fingerprint) were detected from 18 batches of Folium Mori, the average similarity was 0.898. Conclusion: The method is stabile and reliable, it can be used as a quality evaluation of Folium Mori.
