Abstract

Rawls's A Theory of Justice revived the social contract.As the justification of his theory of justice,the social contract inherited and developed the classic social contract represented by Locke,Rousseau and Kant.Furthermore,it expressed two features as desirableness and feasibility.The social contract was not the justification of political legitimacy but the political righteousness in Rawls's theory.
